Many Types of Residential Windows
Garden window installation isn’t your only option when you choose Victory as your window contractor. We install all manner of residential windows, including single-hung, double-hung, sliding, bay, and picture windows.
The double-hung window is the most common residential window. The style has dual-operable sashes that move up and down independently and which can be angled inward for easier cleaning.
Single-hung windows are an alternative to double-hung that are often more affordable as they have just one operable sash. However, they’re generally reserved for the ground floor since they can’t angle in for cleaning.
Sliding windows are installed on a track so that you can slide them open and closed. Also called sliders, they let in a substantial natural airflow and are easy to open and so ideal for hard-to-reach areas.
Bay windows are a window style that extends out from the home for curb appeal and also adds to the interior space. These windows are made up of three smaller windows—usually a picture window bookended by casement or hung windows.
Picture windows are larger windows dominated by a large, open pane of glass and with minimal framing. They’re a perfect choice when you want to let in a lot of natural light while also having a breathtaking view.
We install all manner of window types. That includes windows custom-made for your home and awning, geometric, casement, hopper, floor-to-ceiling, glass block, and jalousie windows.
