Other Window Types We Install
You’re not limited to single hung window replacement with Victory Home Remodeling. Our team also installs double hung, casement, sliding, bay, and picture windows and many other types as well.
Double hung windows are visually similar to their single hung counterparts but have two operable sashes as opposed to one. These windows usually open inward for easy cleaning and offer other advanced features, such as between-the-glass blinds and shades.
Casement windows are horizontal windows with a 90-degree hinge that allows them to open outward from the home. They are an excellent choice for harsh climates and allow for ample sunlight and natural ventilation. Awning windows are a vertically oriented alternative that allow for fresh air in any weather.
Sliding windows—also called sliders—are mounted on rails that allow them to slide open and closed horizontally. They provide substantial sunlight and airflow and are a great choice for oft-used windows or behind a kitchen sink because they don’t require as much leverage to open and close.
Bay windows extend outward from the home, which adds architectural appeal inside and out and also adds interior space. This window style comprises three or more independent windows. A picture window with casement window bookends is common, but practically any style is an option.
Picture windows feature large glass panes and minimize the frame. They allow for a great amount of natural sunlight and are an excellent choice for rooms that have access to a beautiful view. The picture style is also a nice choice for rooms with high ceilings as it provides an elegant way to fill that space.
